While English certainly isn't my favorite topic in the world, I was still able to enjoy the class very much. As someone who grew up reading a lot but soon fell out of it, this class was a good reminder that reading is still enjoyable. As someone who has a lot of interest in mythology and Greek culture, I would have to say that "Oedipus Rex" was a favorite of mine as well as many others. This class has not only changed by willingness to read but has improved my skills in reading and writing. Rather than just reading the surface material, I find it easier to pick up on underlying themes and meanings to literature. I came out of this class learning substantially more than I knew before so I am glad I took this course.
